It is the affirmation Mr. Hoang Ngoc Hung – Vice CEO of CMC, Chairman of CMC Global in a new hire training program which was organized on the afternoon of February 20, 2020 at Resource Development Center of CMC (RDC).
Being organized monthly, the new hire training program of RDC attracts numerous trainees. With the best public speakers and comprehensive content about the work regulations for new employees, the program gives trainees the most multi-dimensional perspective on one of the leading working environments in Vietnam. Recently, on the morning of February 20, there were approximately 20 employees from different departments of CMC Corporation attending the new hire training program – Welcome new members. The speaker in “Leader talk” was Mr. Hoang Ngoc Hung, Vice CEO of CMC, Chairman of CMC Global.

In the program, the chairman shared with new members about the history of CMC Corporation as well as our products ans services. He also affirmed that for an organization to grow strongly, the human factor played an essential role and the attitude of employees was much more important than their qualifications. He gave the example of Alibaba Group. Although Alibaba had invited a lot of experts with generous remuneration, only after a short period of time, they left Alibaba to switch to other organizations. The reason was the lack of strong cohesion in the working environment. Thus he concluded the Corporation and companies need well-qualified people, but more than that, they need the right people to make a lasting contribution to the organization. “CMC is an IT service provider. We have talented staff and favorable environment for career development. We also emphasize the attitude factor. From the very first days, each individual needs to make sure whether his own desire does meet the vision of the company or not.”

Comparing the choice of working environment with going up the stairs, Chairman of CMC Global reminded that, instead of choosing the very high stair then feel exhausted and give up, let’s find the most suitable one, thus stepping steadily and firmly towards the destination. “A good framework comes from real work. There are many people who are knowledgeable but might not perform well, because they are not “hard-working” enough to overcome difficulties. CMC also needs orientation training, combined with inviting new staff who are suitable with our culture and strategy to contribute to the company. Therefore, the unity and commitment in the organization are guaranteed ”– Mr. Hoang Ngoc Hung concluded.

About her personal opinions, Ha Trang (a trainee of the course) said “Listening to Mr. Hoang Ngoc Hung, I was impressed with his opinion “Attitude is more important than qualifications”. Actually working attitude reflects part of your professional ethics. Through the attitude at work, people will evaluate the educational background and knowledge of each person. Qualifications are easily recognized during the work process, but the core cultural background is hard to see. However talented we are, without right attitude, it is hard to go far. I paid great attention during the course, because he has a wealth of experience in work and life, what his shares will give me good direction and motivation to successfully accomplish my upcoming missions.”

It is not simply an emotional element nor the result of any external influences, the attitude is humanistic and is part of social skills. The attitude determines the success and the way we act determines the strong attachment in relationships. The working culture of CMC in general and CMC Global in particular is to respect the differences of each individual, especially emphasize the sense of responsibility and serious attitude at work, because an organization contributed by the people with a positive attitude will produce extraordinary results. Through Leader Talk, the new members had a sense of the working environment as well as the internal cohesion culture of CMC, which will be a premise to help them develop their capacity in the upcoming working process.
